For an exhilarating safari experience, this 11 day adventure will take you on a 4 day safari in The Selous Game Reserve, one of Africa’s least know yet wildest conservation area. Fly onto Zanzibar, where you can relax and be pampered at The Z hotel

Rufiji River Camp located on the banks of the Rufiji river, a point where the ample and tranquil river is animated by many and different species of animals. The tented camp is situated in the heart of the reserve, an environmentally friendly camp with each tent equipped with a private bathroom and a veranda facing the river.
There is a constant flow of animals coming down to drink at the river offering a permanent show to visitors of the camp. The water is usually full of hundreds of hippos as well as groups of crocodiles that laze in the sun on the sandbanks in the river.

Located on the North Coast of Zanzibar, The Z Hotel is a chic hotel which features tropical gardens and overlooks the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. A relaxing stay at the beach is perfect after an adventurous safari.

Day 1
Upon arrival into Dar Es Salaam, you will be met and assisted for your connecting flight onto Selous. You will be transferred to the camp for lunch and an afternoon gamedrive. Dinner and Overnight.
Day 2
Head out by boat following the course of the mighty Rufiji River, weaving amongst the pods of hippo and crocodile lining the bank, as you observe the game coming down to drink. The afternoon brings a gamedrive in an open-sided 4x4 vehicle in search for African mammals.
Day 3
Start the day earlier on a game walk, heading out on Selous’ most privileged of experiences. Accompanied by an experienced guide and an armed ranger, you walk out into Africa’s largest wilderness, learning about the complex eco-system that it embraces, encountering the thrills and visceral contentment of being at the heart of Nature.
Day 4
Your final morning at the reserve where you will experience one last gamedrive before heading off for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival into Zanzibar you will be transferred to The Z Hotel for the next 4 nights.
Day 5
Accommodation at The Z Hotel in a Standard Room - Bed and Breakfast
Day 6
Accommodation at The Z Hotel in a Standard Room - Bed and Breakfast
Day 7
Accommodation at The Z Hotel in a Standard Room - Bed and Breakfast
Day 8
Your final morning at the resort before heading back to the airport for your flight home.
