Holidays to Tanzania

Tanzania is home to Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, and the world famous Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti sees the annual zebra and wildebeest migrations, and also has a large concentration of big cats, who roam the 5,800 square mile park. A visit to the Ngorongoro crater is also well recommended, to head down into the crater floor to view the 600-metre walls, which are often shrouded in clouds. The crater forms its own ecosystem with a huge concentration of wildlife.

The island of Zanzibar lies just off the Tanzania coast, and is another great tropical holiday location, with coral reefs, pristine beaches and turquoise sea.

A Tanzania holiday can be combined with a safari or beach holiday in neighbouring Kenya.
