Day 1
Transfer from Johannesburg or your previous destination to Ngala Lodge. Enjoy afternoon activity, such as game walk or late afternoon game drive with sundowner. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 2
Early wake up and depart on morning game drive. Arrive back at the lodge for breakfast. Rest of the morning at leisure, relaxing on your private veranda or by the swimming pool. After lunch depart on a late afternoon game drive with sundowner at scenic spot. Return back to lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 3
Early breakfast and depart on morning game drive, returning to the lodge for breakfast. Depart Ngala Lodge for your onward destination

Access and Distance

  • Best accessed by air from Johannesburg, Federal Air offers a daily flight from Johannesburg International Airport to Ngala airstrip, which is a 5 minute drive to the lodge. Alternatively Ngala is a 5 hour road transfer from Johannesburg and can be done in two-wheel drive vehicle

Accommodation

  • 20 thatched cottages all with air conditioning, intimate verandahs and green slate en suite baths and showers
  • Safari suite ideal for honeymooners, with spacious sitting room, en suite bedroom, private deck, private swimming pool, spacious mahogany lounge and exclusive safari vehicle and butler service. The expansive sundeck of this superior suite overlooks the Mopane riverbed, where private meals are served at the guest’s request
