This 9 day adventure package shows you some of the most stunning views of the winelands, passing various wine estates you will of course have the chance to enjoy some sumptuous wine tasting in the areas of Franschhoek and Klein Karoo. As well as the wine, these areas boast a great range of activities and gourmet restaurants.
Your journey will continue onto the coastal regions of Knysna and Hermanus where you can experience whale watching, shark cage diving and horse riding. The last couple of nights will be spent in Cape Town the City of Table Mountain, Robben Island and the beautiful gardens of Kirstenbosch.

Day 1: Arrive at Cape Town International Airport and collect your hire car. Drive to the Winelands and overnight at The Protea Hotel Franschhoek.
Day 2: Have the morning to enjoy the surrounding area of Franschhoek, which is well known for its award winning restaurants and wineries. Commence your journey to De Opstal Country House, in Klein Karoo. All rooms are luxurious, spacious en-suites with air-conditioning and are equipped with TV (M-net and satellite channel), a safe for storing valuables and an honesty bar. The stylish bathrooms are fitted with elegant twin basins. From the saltwater swimming pool, visitors can enjoy unspoilt views of the picturesque Schoemanshoek Valley and relax in the peaceful natural surroundings. Overnight at De Opstal Country House.
Day 3: Leave Thorntree Country House to head for Knysna. Why not stop at the Cango Caves and Cango Wildlife Ranch on the way to Knysna. Spend the night at Knysna Log Inn which is located in central Knysna great for sight seeing.
Day 4: Continue your sight seeing with a whole day at visiting some of South Africa’s most beautiful beaches, mountains and rivers. There are countless of activities to enjoy from whale-watching, hiking, ostrich riding, golfing, swimming and bungee jumping. Overnight at Knysna Log Inn
Day 5: Commence your journey onto Hermanus, which is most famous for its whale watching - the town is considered by some to offer the best land-based whale watching in South Africa and the world. Overnight Les Baleines
Day 6: Full day exploring Hermanus and the local area. Overnight Les Baleines
Day 7: Drive onto Cape Town which is best known for its diverse range of attractions, sights and activities.You will overnight at The Camps Bay Resort which is set against the backdrop of The Twelve Apostles Mountain Range and is within walking distance of cafes, restaurants and sundowner spots.
Day 8: Full day exploring Cape Town and the local area. Overnight Camps Bay Resort
Day 9: Have the whole morning at exploring Cape Town’s amazing sights. Drop off your car at Cape Town International Airport for your flight back to Dublin
