Namib Naukluft Park is the largest conservation area in Namibia covering 40,000 square km and covers much of the Naukluft Mountains and central Namib Desert. The famous Sossusvlei sand dunes at 300m, are the highest in the world.On the coast Sandwich Harbour is a bird and nature lovers haven. The lagoon is fed by fresh water and is a sanctuary for large numbers of coastal birds.

The Namib Naukluft Park it is home to some of the rarest and weirdest plant and animal species in the world, including the Welwitschia Mirabilis, large lichen fields and Hartmann’s Mountain Zebra
