Kulala Desert Lodge

Hidden at the foot of the majestic Sossusvlei dunes with it’s own private entrance to
the Namib Naukluft Park, the Kulala Desert Lodge is the closest and most spectacular location to Sossusvlei and provides breathtaking views of the famous red dunes, mountainous scenery and vast open plains.
The canvas style chalets are set on wooden platforms to provide maximum airflow and guests to experience sleeping under the stars on the roof. A water hole in front of the main building gives the opportunity to see Oryx, Springbok, Bat Eared Fox, Aardwolf, Ostrich and Jackals. Some Spotted Hyenas can be heard at night.
The overall setting of this lodge leaves guests with the overwhelming impressions of the magnitude, solitude and tranquillity of the desert.
