Peponi Hotel

From: €1,929

Peponi is on the historic Arab-influenced island of Lamu, just off the Kenyan coastline. The hotel is reached via a 90-minute flight from Nairobi and a short boat ride from neighbouring Manda Island. Family-run since 1967, the hotel offers personal service, traditional local food and plentiful seafood, and a beautiful oceanview terrace overlooking the seven-mile-long Shela Beach. All guestrooms also face the sea, and there is a freshwater pool.
