Day 1

Drive south from Nairobi for the three and a half journey to Amboseli National Park. Settle in at Amboseli Porini Camp and embark on your first game drive into the wilderness after lunch. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stop at this tented camp.

Day 2

After breakfast set off for an early morning game drive in Amboseli, taking a picnic lunch and returning to Porini Amboseli Camp by the afternoon. Take an evening game drive in Selenkay Conservancy, with sundowner drinks on the way. Look out for nocturnal wildlife like wild cats, bar-eared foxes, caracals, serval cats, aarddvarks and more. Back to Porini for dinner and a second night’s stay.

Day 3

Join an early game drive before breakfast at the camp and transferring back to Nairobi. Have lunch in the city’s Village Market then head onwards to Lake Nakuru. Arrive in the national park area in the mid-afternoon and check into Lion Hill Lodge, with its stunning views across the lake. Huge flocks of flamingo crowd around the lake and you’ll take a game drive to see them better and to discover some more of the local animals, which include buffalo, the Rothschild’s giraffe, both species of rhino, zebra, impala and waterbuck. The park is also home to big cats like leopard and lion. Overnight at Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 4

Set out early to look out for leopard, which are often spotted in Lake Nakuru National ParkEarly morning game drive to try to spot the leopard, frequently sighted in Lake Nakuru Park. Return to Lion Hill Lodge for breakfast then take another drive to look for the two species of African rhino that are found in Nakuru. Return for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing before an evening game drive. Overnight at Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 5

After breakfast take a transfer back to Nairobi and join a flight onwards to the Maasai Mara and then drive to Mara Porini Camp for a two night stay. You will have time for an evening game drive before dinner and overnight stop.

Day 6

Embark for a full day in the Maasai Mara on the look out for big cats and other wildlife. Take a picnic lunch and sundowner drinks as you make your way around the park, enjoying an night drive to see nocturnal animals before you make your way back to Mara Porini Camp for your dinner and second night.

Day 7

Early game drive and then breakfast at the camp before catching your return flight to Nairobi.
