This Kenyan safari has been designed specifically for families, and combines comfortable accommodation with plenty of activities to keep the kids happy. You’ll visit two varied game parks –Samburu and the Maasai Mara - all with excellent wildlife-viewing opportunities. Travel by air between them, cutting down on long journeys. Stay at the well-appointed safari tents at the Intrepids Camps, which are bound to appeal to children. Head out into the bush on exciting 4WD game drives to discover Kenya’s magnificent wildlife.

The Samburu and Maasai Mara Intrepids Camps also have their Adventure Clubs for children under 12, with loads of fun and educational activities to keep them amused. They can build their own Maasai homestead, learn to make fire just with a pair of sticks, study beautiful African butterflies, cast big cat tracks, learn to identify birds and take part in bush treasure hunts. Older children from 12-17 can also take part in guided walks in the bush, orienteering, snake, bird and mammal identification and learn about essential first aid techniques.

Day 1
Arrive in Nairobi, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to Wilson Airport to catch your flight to Samburu National Park. Arrive into Samburu just in time for lunch and spend the afternoon at your leisure. Depart on a late afternoon game drive, returning to Samburu Intrepids for dinner
Day 2
Morning and afternoon game drives, and children’s activities. Samburu Intrepids
Day 3
Fly direct from Samburu to Masai Mara. All children can take part in the activities of the Adventurers’ Club. Afternoon game drive in Mara Reserve. Dinner and overnight Mara Intrepids
Day 4

Day 5
Depart after breakfast and catch your 1100 flight back to Nairobi, arriving at 1215. On arrival you will be met & transferred to Nairobi Airport to catch your flight to Mombasa. Transfer to Turtle Bay Beach Club where you will spend the next 7 nights relaxing on the beach & enjoying the number of activities that the hotel offers
