Day 1
Arrive at Maun Airport and fly to Camp Moremi for a two-night stay in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. The camp is surrounded by natural beauty on Xakanaxa Lagoon in the Moremi Game Reserve.
Day 2
Spend the day discovering the lagoon area and the surrounding channels of the Okavango Delta by motorboat. The area has fantastic opportunities for birdwatching. You can also go on game drives in the Moremi Reserve in open-sided 4WD safari vehicles.
Day 3
Take another activity this morning and then enjoy brunch at the camp. Transfer to Xakanaxa airstrip to fly onwards to Savute Safari Lodge. The lodge is on the banks of the now dried-up Savute channel, which forms part of the larger Savute ecosystem. The area is well known for its many prides of lion and many elephants.
Day 4
Take game drives in 4WD safari vehicles from Savute Safari Lodge into the wider Savute area, entering the Savute Marsh and stopping at Gubatsa Hills to see the ancient San rock paintings.
Day 5
Join a morning activity from the lodge and then enjoy bruch before flying to Kasane Airport. Meet your representative to take the road transfer to Kasane Immigration point on the border with Namibia. Step onboard your boat to complete the journey to Chobe Savanna Lodge, where you will have a two-night stay. Cruise along Chobe River to arrive at Chobe Savanna Lodge, nestled on the banks of the river in the Eastern Caprivi region of Namibia, with views across the expanisve Chobe National Park.
Day 6
There are plenty of activities to join from Chobe Savanna Lodge. Take a river journey on small, manoeuverable motorboats to spot game along the banks of the Chobe, go fishing, take a canoe trip or walking tour depending on the time of year. The lodge also organises trips to Barotseland and Kuomboka villages to learn more about the local culture.
Day 7
Transfer to Kasane by boat after breakfast at Savanna Lodge, passing back across the border. Meet your representative to guide you onto your road transfer to Victoria Falls Airport to continue your holiday in Botswana or return home.
